I believe that after a while (and some counciling) they will understand, I mean, THEY HIRED ONE OF HER KIDNAPPERS!!! that's just bad parenting

Hehe, yeah. But they dont see it that way obviouslyl. Counciling does sound like a good idea. Maybe when the war is over they can sit down with Aang and talk it over. He is the Avatar. Keeping the peace is his job.

Haha, yeah, really. We need to start hangin with new friends.
That horrible! Fortunatly I wouldnt have to make my kid do that. I am a total neat freak and kepe my room clean all the time. My kid would inherit that habit....hopfully.

There is a truly awesome Fanfiction called "Whisper Into the Sky" , which basicly tells about how Toph's parents want her to come back home and marry, but she doesn't want too so they eventually settle on a deal that if Toph can win this tournement, she doesn't have to marry, but if she loses she has to marry the winner. So basicly her parents still don't understand.
It is very good, if you don't mind some Taang/Zutara.
