I know most of them will say its just because they love you so much but that excuse only goes so far. I dont see love as smuthering your daugther and taking away everything she loves.

Nah, my parents are protective but only when the circumstances are extreme, if you know what I mean. They give me a lot of free range to do what I want as long as I keep them informed and dont do any thing super stupid.

As of now, yes. If they did decide to understand and change their ways, I think she would be happier with them. Not saying she would go back and live with them but I think she would feel she could actually talk with them and what not.
